Experience true wonder with your loved ones during the holiday season with the beloved classic, Nutcracker! Glittering snowfall, jumping candy canes and the magnificent Land of Sweets–the holidays have never felt so magical. Thrill to the classic story as you follow Clara and the Nutcracker Prince on their journey to defeat the Mouse King and meet the Sugar Plum Fairy. Performed at the elegant Belk theater in the heart of Uptown Charlotte, there’s no better tradition than experiencing Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux’s choreography with Tchaikovsky’s classic score.

NCHE has been able to obtain a limited number of tickets to the Charlotte Ballet’s performance of The Nutcracker, to be performed in the Belk Theater, 130 N. Tryon Street, Charlotte, for Friday, December 15 (their only student performance this year.) The performance begins promptly at 10:30 a.m. We must be in our seats by 10:00 a.m.–so plan to be parked no later than 9:30.  Tickets ordered by 11:59 pm on Wednesday, October 4 cost just $14.50–while supply lasts!  Tickets purchased October 5 and following will be $17.75 while supplies last.  Tickets are transferable to others for the same day’s performance but are non-refundable.  NOTE:  Due to fire codes, every person (even lap babies) must have a purchased ticket so the theater is always able to tell the first responders how many to account for in an emergency situation.
