The Homeschool Show is a weekly twenty-six minute program produced in the News Talk WSIC studio and broadcast at 8:30 am on Mondays in the northern Charlotte, Lake Norman, Statesville and Iredell County region. You can watch or listen to the show here.

We then upload the video and audio recordings of the show to YouTube and our podcast channels. The Homeschool Show is promoted each week through our social media channels (more than 27,000 followers) and email list (more than 14,000 subscribers).

The Homeschool show has regular segments such as homeschool news, homeschool conversations (Interviews), the homeschool tip of the week, Homeschool Helps with Amanda, and more. Our aim is to provide an entertaining, informative, and encouraging experience for homeschool families in NC and beyond. There is no organization in North Carolina who can reach our state’s homeschool families as we can. North Carolinians for Home Education has been serving homeschoolers since 1984.  Our mission is to help parents homeschool with confidence and joy by protecting their right to homeschool in NC, equipping them with information and encouragement, and connecting them with other homeschool groups and families.

The Homeschool Show is hosted by our president and executive director, Matthew McDill. Matthew and his wife, Dana, have been homeschooling their 9 children for 17 years. He is author of Loving God: A Practical Handbook for Discipleship. Matthew holds a bachelor’s degree in communication along with 2 master’s degrees and a doctorate in biblical studies.
