Regional Liaison Application

Thank you for your interest in serving as a regional liaison with NCHE. Please visit our about page so that you can become familiar with our mission, values, and work. Regional liaisons are volunteers who provide support and help connect homeschoolers to NCHE and to one another within their homeschool communities. We have nine regional liaisons, as you can see on our organization page. You can see a larger map of the regions here and the types of pages liaisons manage by selecting a county.

Liaisons are  encouraged to attend board meetings and take part in any discussions with the same rights and privileges as non-voting members. The board meets quarterly in person and around once a month virtually throughout the year. One of the in-person board meetings takes place at the annual Thrive! Conference (end of May) and another one takes place at our three day, annual board and liaison retreat (August). All liaisons (and any family members that attend) volunteer at the conference and have their registration, hotel room, and travel expenses paid for or reimbursed. It is important for liaisons to attend the retreat if at all possible.
