Amidst all the posts, pics and chats, the homeschool community has portrayed home education as a Utopian experience. There’s one problem: It is not. This portrayal can leave the impression on a homeschool family that something is wrong if they are not having this type of experience. This session is for new homeschool families or for veteran homeschool families whose home might need a breath of fresh air. We will discuss simple modifications that will help children grow into whom they were created to be and help you in making a real life the best it can be.

Belinda Bullard is the founder of A Blessed Heritage Educational Resources, an educator and an author. Belinda and her best friend of almost 30 years have homeschooled their three children, with two of the three having graduated and currently pursuing their academic and career pursuits away from home. A chemical engineer by formal education, she birthed A Blessed Heritage based upon her own passion to teach her children history beyond the traditional narrative. A Blessed Heritage has become a leader in producing multicultural history resources within the homeschooling community.
