Each one of our children is unique and the way they learn is unique as well. One way parents can improve the education they provide to their children is by gaining a firm understanding of learning styles. In this workshop, parents will be introduced to four different learning styles, learn how to determine their child’s learning style, and discover ways to implement these styles in their teaching.

Andrea Thorpe is a wife and a mother of three daughters ages 18, 16 and 11. Prior to becoming a homeschooling mom, Andrea earned an elementary teaching certificate, a BA in English, and an MA in student personnel services. During her nine years in public education, Andrea worked as a classroom teacher and guidance counselor and was recognized as Teacher of the Year. For the past thirteen years, Andrea has enjoyed teaching her lively trio from the comfort of her family’s New Jersey home. Currently, she teaches classes in her local homeschool community and works as a freelance writer. She enjoys encouraging homeschool moms and is the author of three children’s books.
