Research says that students who learn to manage their academic time are more successful. How do you teach a child to stay on task when they cannot even find their way to the school table? Come and join Gretchen Roe as she shares research into why your child struggles to manage their time and effective ways you can teach them to set goals and stay on task.

Gretchen Roe has 21 years of home education experience with her six children, five of whom are college graduates. Although she considers herself a reluctant homeschooler, she now says it was “the best journey of my life.” With a degree in psychology and child development, she has spent the last 27 years in positions of homeschool advocacy, developing special bonds with families of children who have to work harder to learn. A former business owner, she has served on a variety of nonprofit boards. Gretchen began working for Demme Learning in 2014 as a placement specialist and now serves as the company’s community relations coordinator. She loves the outdoors, all things furry, chicken raising and beekeeping, and is a second-degree taekwondo black belt.
