So often we hear the phrase: College isn’t for everyone! This is true! However, as an educational community, we seem to have forgotten those students who really don’t want to transition to a 4-year degree. The good news is there is a world of opportunity for those students, especially if they make good use of their community college resources and the freedom of homeschooling. In this workshop learn how to help your student who wants to explore other options. Diane will focus on how the community college system can be a valuable resource to those students and set them a career path.

Diana Allen begann ihre pädagogische Laufbahn als Klassenlehrerin für Naturwissenschaften. Nachdem sie zu einer Mutter geworden war, die zu Hause blieb, unterrichtete sie ihre 3 Kinder über einen Zeitraum von 21 Jahren bis zum Abschluss und diente gleichzeitig der Homeschool-Community durch Genossenschaften, als Testanbieterin und Online-Lehrerin. Sie war mit der Gelegenheit gesegnet, von 2016 bis 2018 als NC DNPE-Direktorin zu fungieren, und arbeitet derzeit mit einer University Model School als Direktorin für Programmunterstützung. Sie und ihr Mann lieben das Leben in der Kleinstadt und den Aufbau von Beziehungen zu ihren 4 Enkelkindern.
