Central Carolina Home Educators, Incorporated, (CCHE) was founded in 2004, and is a place to encourage homeschool families by coming along side and providing resources and opportunities to supplement your homeschool journey.

EMMA (Enriching, Mentoring, Mastering, and Achieving) Since formation of the EMMA program in 1996, the classes have functioned as a Christ-centered support system designed to be a helpful, affordable aid to homeschooling families.

Forsyth Home Educators is a Christian homeschool support group representing more than 400 families in the heart of NC. We sponsor championship sports teams, driver’s education classes, workshops, mom’s nights out, prom, graduation, field trips and more. Our monthly newsletter and the community groups on Facebook keep our members informed and connected. We also have several sports teams.

Greensboro Home Educators (GHE) is a Christian homeschool group of families primarily residing in Guilford County, NC.

High Point Home Educators  The purpose and mission of HPHE is to provide support, guidance, encouragement and educational opportunities according to Biblical principles and ideals for home educating families in the Triad area of North Carolina.

Hillcrest Homeschool Enrichment is a ministry of Hillcrest Baptist Church located in the south Kernersville area.

Holy Family Homeschool Enrichment of the Triad The mission of the Holy Family Home School Enrichment of the Triad is to support and encourage Catholic parents in their vocation to home educate their children.

Homeschool Connections of Randolph County  The intention of this website is to gather all the home education links and information for Randolph county in one place.

NC Adventurous Home Educators is an all inclusive homeschool group that is based out of the Piedmont Triad, but offers fun, educational activities and trips all over NC and its bordering states.

Rockingham County NC Homeschoolers is a group for homeschoolers and parents to come together and share upcoming activities, field trips, co op events, classes, etc.

River Bend Charlotte Mason Fine Arts Co-op  RBCMFAC meets every other Thursday from 9:00 – 11:45 AM. All ages together except preschool; parents participate by helping their students.

Rowan County Home School Association is a Christ-centered homeschool support group.

STEM Classes of the Triad Our focus is on classes that have components of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.

STEM Prep Academy: A Homeschool Co-op for Techies  STEM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. These fields are taking the workforce and education by storm!​

Stokes Home Educators is an active, growing group that gets together for social gatherings each month, along with a field trip each month, and other events like skate days.

T.E.A.C.H. of Davie County  The name of our group was chosen to reflect some of the core values of our member families. It stands for Teaching, Excellence, Achievement and Character at Home.

Twin City Co-op Registered was founded  as a homeschool community, whose intention is to connect families from all backgrounds, faiths, cultures, and experiences. Each 8-week session includes a 1 hour art class and supplies and a 1 hour PE class.

Walkertown Home Educators (WHE) is a faith-based homeschool group participating in field trips, Mom’s nights out, roller skating and an enrichment co-op.

Winston Salem Homeschoolers has a twofold purpose- to share homeschool events going on in Winston-Salem, as well as give members the opportunity to get together and make new friends!

Yadkin County NC Homeschoolers : a Facebook group to network, buy/sell, and talk about all things homeschooling.

Brea McClain

Brea McClain was appointed Region 3 Liaison in 2018.  The McClains live in Kernersville where they have homeschooled for 15 years.  Her oldest son, Ransom, graduated in 2017, followed by Asher in 2019.  She's now teaching Sigourney, 16, in the 11th grade; Tobias, 14, 10th grade; and Corwin, 7, second grade. The loss of her four-year-old son Joel in 2012 gave her a passion for rare disease advocacy, special needs education and grieving parents. Brea and her husband Kevin have served with the NCHE board since 2010, with Kevin filling roles as Education VP, President, IT Director, and currently Advisor.  This summer marks Kevin's 15th year with The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he currently serves as the University's GSuite for Education Administrator.
