NCHE Thrive! Conference Speaker Application

The 2018 Thrive! The NCHE Homeschool Conference will be held in Winston-Salem, NC, on May 31-June 2, 2018. If you are interested in presenting a workshop(s) at the 2018 conference, please fill out this application to be considered. We will let you know In late January if you are selected and which workshops have been selected. If you are selected as a speaker, you will receive a small honorarium and free family admission to attend the conference. If you have questions prior to notification, you may email events@nche.com. We will assume that you are available unless we hear otherwise from you. Therefore please let us know as soon as possible if you become unavailable to speak at the NCHE conference.

Workshops

Enter Workshop Title, Classification and Description.

Classify each workshop with one or more of the following interest codes. No more than three codes may be listed for a workshop; the code G should not be placed with any other code except T.

  • G: Of general interest to all parents
  • O For parents of older elementary age (may include middle school)
  • T Of special interest to teens
  • B For beginners and inquirers
  • P For parents of teens (and possibly teens)
  • L For parents of struggling learners
  • D For dads
  • Y For parents of young children, preschool to early elementary
  • M For moms

Please limit workshop descriptions between 30-100 words.

Workshop 1
Do you have video and/or audio digital recordings of your talks that you like share with the selection committee? If available online, provide the web address(es). If not available online, email file(s) for review to events@nche.com. Include in the email the necessary information to associate the files with your application.
NCHE has my permission to record all conference workshop sessions that I will be conducting on the weekend of May 31-June 2, 2018, and to sell copies of the recording.
List any restrictions on days, times or number of workshops you are able to present.
