Homeschoolers Around Wake County is a place for local homeschooling moms to connect and share ideas & information related to homeschooling. Moms who are considering homeschooling and/or considering moving to our area (Wake County & surrounding areas) are also welcome​.  This is a very active Facebook group which works to connect local homeschool families in person not just online.

Yahoo group.  Purpose is to meet the needs of families homeschooling children of African, Asian, Latino, and Native American heritages.

Homeschoolers of Holly Springs

The goal of this group is to get homeschool families together in our area for friendship, support, to share information and experiences, as well as a place for our children to socialize with other homeschoolers.

We are based in Holly Springs but we would like to meet other homeschoolers in the surrounding areas - you are welcome to join us. We do require Members to attend at least one event per month. Participation is important for the success of the group. This is a secular group and is based on home education and friendships.

Homeschoolers of Knightdale

We are a free homeschool group geared towards children in the pre-k and elementary school age range. We take advantage of some of the great resources we have in Knightdale, but also various parts of the Triangle for museums, field trips, group classes, and guided tours! We are an active group and will generally have between two and three events on any given week of our calendar. Our main goal is socialization and presenting opportunities to learn through fun.

Learning 4 Life Home Educators

This is an inclusive support group of homeschooling families from the Gaston/Cleveland county areas of North Carolina and all surrounding counties. Our homeschool group is composed mostly of "upper elementary grade" children, but we have various aged children from babies to teenagers. This group is open to anyone regardless of race, religion, home school styles, parenting styles, etc.

Learning Influenced by our Father's Example (LIFE)

Our group is the LIFE homeschool support group out of Dunn.  We meet Tuesdays.  Our month is divided into Inklings literature and fun club the first Tuesday of the month, Enrichment days the 2nd and 3rd Tuesday of the month (the fall focus is NC History and the Spring focus is forensic science) , the 4th Tuesday is a field trip.  We also have socials and parties for the holidays as well as back to school kick-offs, field days, and end of year parties.

Lighthouse Christian Homeschool Association

Lighthouse is a large homeschoool group which serves the Wake Forest, Raleigh area.  Christian parent support group, lots of kids activities - field trips, sports teams, clubs, yearbooks, graduation.

Lincoln County Home Educators, founded in 1988, is a growing local Christian support group of about 65 families. Our purposes as a group are to offer help and encouragement to area home schoolers and to provide educational, spiritual, and social activities for member families.
