EMMA (Enriching, Mentoring, Mastering, and Achieving)

Since formation of EMMA (Enriching, Mentoring, mastering, and Achieving,) in 1996, the classes have functioned as a Christ-centered support system designed to be a helpful aid to homeschooling families.  We strive to offer classes that are both affordable and of a quality to truly enhance the homeschool programs of the participating families.  The parents are clearly recognized as being fullly and solely responsible for their child's education, while the classes are designed to provide a framework for a course of study.

This group is for members of the Family Apostolate of Catholic Education and Service (FACES) home school co-op located in Charlotte, NC. FACES is an apostolate of Roman Catholic families established to support homeschooling families in their role as primary educators of their children. Our ultimate goal is to help parents and their children grow in the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ through obedience to His teachings, attaining through His grace, life everlasting. This group is also open to Charlotte area Catholics who are not members of the FACES Co-op.

Faithful Instructors

Faithful Instructors is a small, casual homeschool moms support group.  The group is a mix of seasoned and beginning homeschool moms with a desire to be a source of encouragement, information, and fellowship for each other.  We meet on the third Monday of the month at 7:00 pm in the coordinator's home outside of Weaverville from September through May.
