Founded in 1984, North Carolinians for Home Education (NCHE) is a private, volunteer organization active at the state level, serving homeschoolers in North Carolina and beyond.
In order to better serve, NCHE divides the state into nine regions. Each region has an assigned number and Regional Director.
Homeschooling is the view that education is best when teaching and learning are integrated into the relationships and activities of the family.
The oldest form of education, homeschooling was legally recognized in NC in 1988.

About GREENHOUSE Graduate Issue
The GREENHOUSE publishes a special issue in May that celebrates our high school graduates. The issue contains graduation recognitions, graduate ads contributed by families in celebration of their graduate, and articles focused on the topic of graduation. This special issue is a great memento of this celebration. We make this issue available for graduate families to purchase extra copies for those important people in the graduate’s life. As with other GREENHOUSE issues, this special graduate issue is mailed to all members and available to everyone online in PDF at nche.com.
To get more information about advertising in the GREENHOUSE, contact us at or call the NCHE office at (844) 624-3338 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
